The only effective permanent hair removal would be to have a laser hair removal procedure done from a professional. For temp hair removal try Sally Hansen Wax Strip Kit or Surgi-Wax.

Lasers for local use in visible areas ( as long as the chap who is doing it knows what he is doing..otherwise scars!!)

Electrolysis ..as above, too many sessions, not long lasting

Vaniqua (eflornithine)local application cream reduces rate of growth, body hair too much area for local application though!

Spironolactone, Cyproterone, Finasteride...only good for hirsutism, and not particularly recommended for body hair, which will need one of the above PHYSICAL methods..other than shaving/depilation

Well, there's a ConAir electric body buffer thing I purchased a while back. It's not permanent, but it keeps it from growing back for a few weeks. It beats Nair :-\
