no, insurance does not cover it. it costs about $400 (usually more) a session and you will need multiple sessions. generally costs over $1000 in total. also, you cannot have any tan on the area. the actual sessions include an hour of numbing cream on the area and then the actual treatment is pretty short. the doctor goes over the area 3 times with the laser %26amp; you are set. i'd suggest taking a couple advil before, too. it is not painless.
