Does IPL Hair Removal really work for Tgirl?

I am 30 something! blue eyes and 5'8height, I am slim size 10/12 but like every other girl would love to be slimmer. Just had my hair cut like posh spice and have grown my nails. Been there seen it with permanent hair removal, still have the scars 1 week on from electrolosis and someone tells me that IPL Laser is only good for draining my bank account - Is this true?

If you have scars from electrolysis, its most likely because you weren't going to a reputable, and skilled individual. Try someone else because this kind of thing is normally the result of going to someone who is either unlicensed, unskilled, or both.

Also, hair removal methods work for both males and females, so the fact that you are genetically male does not matter though it will probably take a lot longer to rid yourself of unwanted hair because of the higher testosterone levels that males have. Thus, your body will essentially be fighting the hair removal process.

I work in the beauty industry as a nail tech, and have a friend that does this kind of hair removal for a living Anyway, she told me that it is not uncommon to find some people working in the field of electrolysis who are, in fact, not licensed, and therefore are not qualified to be performing these services - not to mention the legal implications of working without a license.

I would recommend finding a well qualified, experienced, highly skilled, AND licensed electrologist. They do exist. You just need to find the right person. Be sure to ask them about whether they are licensed or not - they need to clearly display their license in the work area. And, ask about their experience, and also how they feel about treating males because it is my understanding that not all of them are understanding about that sort of thing.
