Hair color removal?

Besides using a hair color stripper, is there a fast way to "wash out" semi-permanent hair color? I used Natural Instict black and it's just too dark! I was going for dark, dark brown and thought if I used black and didn't leave it on as long I would get that... um... that's not what happened. It's not horrible, I just don't like it on me. I had a feeling it would be too dark and that's why a chose a semi-perm color, but black is, well, black and I don't see this fading anytime soon. I was wondering if there were any home remidies that might speed the process up?

anything thats not acidic apparently works.

Also dish washing liquid i heard.

But ive never tried any of it.

Maybe just wash your hair 6 times a day or whenever until it fades.
