Laser Hair Removal???

Have you had laser hair removal and is it permanent?

Laser Hair Removal???

Laser hair removal can be very effective, but you will most likely need to go back in every once in a while for touch-ups.

I recently interviewed a person who has had multiple laser hair removal treatments. You can take a look at the interview here: http://laserhairportal.com/blog/case-stu...

If you have dark hair with light skin, then you are probably a very good candidate.

Here are a few things to look for when you are comparing different laser hair removal clinics.

1. Make sure that the equipment being used is actually owned by the facility and not just being rented.

2. Find a clinic with a staff that is friendly and highly-trained. You閳ユ獟l want to invest your money into people that are dedicated to getting you the best possible results.

3. Don閳ユ獩 be fooled by discount laser hair removal clinics. Established medical centers with excellent reputations do not discount their fees. As with all medical procedures, you should look

for a clinic with the highest quality, rather than the lowest cost. Laser hair removal requires an experienced and professional staff that provide individual attention and care.

Laser Hair Removal???

Nope.It sounds creepy.I have waist length hair and am keeping it.

Laser Hair Removal???

It's supposed to be permanent, but you may have to go back later in life for a touchup.

Ask your technician about the patients he/she has and if they have come back and how often, you have the right to know.

Laser Hair Removal???

I had it about 2 years ago for a bit of lip hair and I was a bit annoyed about the whole experience. The lady told me that as an "added bonus" for me, it would also fade the freckles above my lip. What she should have explained is that it would completely change the colour of my skin in that area - I had to put up with about a year of greyish skin above my lip which still looked funny with makeup. After spending a bit of time in the sun the colour has returned to normal, but my advice is be wary of getting it done on your face, where a slight skin colour change would stand out. As for the hair, the long dark hairs havent returned. I still have very fine short light coloured hair there but it isnt noticeable.

Laser removal, does it work?

Has anyone tried laser hair removal or any other permanent hair removal? Does it work or should I just stick to shaving rashes and stubble?

Laser removal, does it work?

it works but it takes more than one treatment....to do an area..say your arm pits...it will take 2 or 4 treatments, costing about $400 dollars a piece......so look to spend about $1200 just for under arms...sometimes they run specials that you can do both legs for $3500

Laser removal, does it work?

I have had it and it does work. Additionally, I live in a very expensive area (Boston) but I didn't pay as much as some people are claiming it costs. I believe it was $75/hour and I ended up doing three hour long treatments.

It does work better for people who have fair skin and dark hair. But I think there are new techniques/machinery for others as well.

Laser removal, does it work?

I want to do that I'm sick and tired of shaving!

Laser removal, does it work?

I've gotten my bikini area lasered, and I'm really happy with the results. It does work best, so they told me, on light skin with dark, coarse hair. If you have fine or blonde hair, there just isn't enough pigment to absorb the heat from the laser and the procedure will not work. Also, if you have dark skin, there is a risk of removing the pigment from the area (hypo-pigmentation), resulting in one lighter area on your body. It is pretty safe, provided you go to a properly trained professional. They must be certified and really should display their certificate. When you go for a first consultation, they will go over your nedical history, and see if there are any complication that might prevent you having this procedure.

I personally spent years waxing, shaving and plucking hairs from down there, and I really find it's the best option so far. They might come up with something so wonderful in time, but for now, I think this is your best option. It is expensive. I won't lie to you there. Like, my bikini area cost ~$600CDN and count on your legs running you ~$1000CDN or more.

I got a "package" where I only paid once, and I had about 6 sessions over the course of a year. Now, the hair is almost completely removed. I may have one or two more sessions before I'm completely done. ONCE THE HAIR FOLLICLE IS TREATED, IT WILL NOT GROW IN AGAIN. I just want to state that. BUT your hair grows in cycles, so any growth you do get will be new hairs, which will be treated in the next session.

It isn't too painful. But depending on the area you are getting treated, and your pain tolerance, the pain will vary. I was told to take an advil or tylenol before the treatment. Or, if it's really bad, they'll put a little anesthetic on the area to numb it.

It won't leave any permanent marks. You might just have a bit of dry skin, possibly some scabbing that can be cleared up by just slapping on some moisturizing lotion, like aloe, for a few days after the treatment. And for a little while after the treatment, the hairs are going to slowly fall out of the follicle. You can speed this up by loofahing the area, or even pulling them out with tweezers. Just be sure not to pluck out any ones that haven't been treated. These ones will not just fall out. You'll know the difference once you do it.

I know that was kind of long, but I really hope I helped.

Do those "radio wave" hair removal kits actually work?

I am white with a fair complexion and have black body hair on my back, chest, and stomach that I want to get rid of. It is not very thick, but it is there. Aside from VERY expensive laser hair removal, and painful electrolisys is there any permanent method of removal?

Do those "radio wave" hair removal kits actually work?

No they don't and no there isnt. Laser is only way for large areas....but why bother?? Body hair on a guy is sexy.........kinda that Me Tarzan You Jane thing going on

Hair removal...........?

is electolysis/laser hair removal seriously permanent meaning it wont ever grow back again. and would it damage skin at all.

xXx thanxx in advance xXx

Hair removal...........?

I have been researching this topic. Electrolysis is the only real permanent solution to hair loss, because it destroys the hair follicle. However, because all hair has both active and dormant growth stages, it may take multiple visits to get an area completely clear of hair. As some hairs are destroyed, others will enter active growth phases, and will also need to be removed. However, despite that fact, it is permanent.

Everything I have read about laser removal says it is actually a semi-permanent solution to hair removal. Hair may come back several years down the road and need to be zapped again. One of the things I read said you can pretty much count on needing to go in periodically for the rest of your life for touchups.

There is another consideration about laser removal of which you should be aware. I have olive skin, and no professional will guarantee the results of laser removal for me. I mean they can guarantee the hair will be removed, but they cannot guarantee that the laser won't leave dark patches on my skin. The problem is that they have no way of knowing by looking at your skin if you will form the dark patches or not. Plenty of people with dark skin have the procedure done and don't get any hyperpigmentation, but many others do get the dark spots. I asked if the spots are noticeable, and was told they are very noticeable, and that there is no way to remove them. Since I cannot get a guarantee that I won't end up with brown spots on my face, I won't be considering that method of hair removal anymore.

Neither method, if done by a professional, will damage your skin. The only thing that could happen is the dark patches I mentioned above, and that's only if you have a darker skin tone.

I hope that helps!

Hair removal...........?

yes for a year

Hair removal...........?

it wont damage your skin but i have heard it is pain full and yes i do believe it is permanent.

Hair removal...........?

it wont damage hair and its permenant its never ganna come back price goes from 1-2 dollars per hair and electrolisis uses a very fine needle to destroy the hair folicle while the laser just zaps it and it doesnt damage your skkin and both dont hurt at all

Hair removal...........?

Yes, electrolysis is permanent and yes, laser hair removal is permanent. In both instances, once a follicle is destroyed it is destroyed.

Both will require touch up treatments in the future. This is because hormonal changes can cause dormant follicles to go active and because hormonal changes can cause fine hairs to become more coarse.

Electrolysis can damage the skin by causing scarring around the follicle "pore". With mutliple treatments this can make the face look "rough". Bad professionals cause more problems but I have seen scarring from the work of good professionals.

Laser can damage the skin if their is too much melanin in the skin. This is especially important for people with a tan because in a tanning situation the melanin resides only on the surface of the skin, whereas, people with untanned darker skin tones have an even dispursement of melanin through the skin. If you have dark skin, you can get a test patch to insure that you will not have a negative reaction.

I have had both. For Laser I had it 6 years ago and all of the hair is still gone. For electrolysis, I could only stand 1 procedure and you only remove 5-10% of the hair in one sitting.

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent

There's and electrolysis ad I see for a tweezer with a small charge for only about thirty dollars.

I wonder if it will really work for men's facial hair though.

I see from the ad that it is meant for women's facial hair..

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent removal ?

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent removal ?

IF you hair is dark, go for laser removal...you will have to repeat process 2 or three times, but it is much faster and certainly less painful. Electrolysis is painful, slow, and has to be repeated also. Laser is fast, covers large areas, and works if you give it a chance,...but your hair must be darker..doesn't work on gray or lt blond people. Good luck

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent removal ?

Not as a perminant removal method. You have to go to a lazer removal specialist for perminant hair removal.

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent removal ?

Lazar is the way to go dude.

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent removal ?

it does work for male facial to do laser treatment, but its expensive and painful from what I understand. If you cant afford that, try waxing it. Why do u not want facial hair anyways? Isnt that part of being a man?

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent removal ?

Electrolysis Is the only permanent system. Laser will last a long time if your beard is dark enough but should be followed up with electrolysis.

Tammi Dee

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent removal ?

pour hot lye on the area your face has hair,,it will also take off a couple of layers of skin but when it grows back its great,,just kidding

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent removal ?

The truth from a transwoman...

Electrolysis and laser hair removal both work. Which one will be best for you will depend on how much hair you have, how dark it is, and your complection. Both can be fairly expensive though.

What methods really work to remove male facial hair for a long time or permantly? Is there permanent removal ?

electrolyis done by a professional is the only way to go....painful! but worth it for a smooth face

Is laser hair removal worth the $$$? Is it really 100% permanent?

The success of laser hair removal depends a LOT on the color of your hair. If you are a dark brunette or the hair you want removed is naturally dark, the laser works well.

However, if your hair is blonde or red naturally, there isn't enough pigment in the hair for the laser to kill the root.

Also, each hair follicle has several hairs in it, some of which are dormant at any given time. The hairs are in a several week cycle of growth and dormancy.

The laser hair removal kills the actively growing hair in the follicle but not the dormant ones. That's why you have to go back for another expensive treatment in a few weeks, to catch the hairs which were dormant the first treatment. Sometimes it takes 3-4 treatments.

Is laser hair removal worth the $$$? Is it really 100% permanent?

I've found that it depends on your hair color more than anything. When I had it done, it lasted about 6 months only. It's quite pricey but I found it worthwhile. You might want to investigate electrolysis and other forms of hair removal techniques. Every person reacts differently and prices vary so check around with several before deciding on a technician to do your hair removal. If found some info. At my source was helpful.

Best hair removal option for men?

I dont have much chest or stomach hair. Just some hair around my nipples. Are there any recommended products or procedures that would get me the best results. I'm looking for permanent removal, or something I could do once a month and keep it nice and bare.

Best hair removal option for men?

I shave from my balls up everyday in the shower. My wife is shaven clean as well! I always shaved my chest and kept the pubes trimmed until she asked me to try it and have been sold ever since!

Best hair removal option for men?

DO YOU WANT HAIR, OR YOU WANT TO BE HAIRLESS. YOUR QUERRY IS UNCLEAR

Best hair removal option for men?

For once-a-month removal, waxing is really effective. It hurts the first few times, but the hairs get thinner and finer as you go.

If you want permanent removal (and you have dark hair and with relatively light skin), laser hair reduction is your best option. It is pricey and it takes a long time (months) to complete the necessary treatments, but it does offer a mostly permanent solution.

Best hair removal option for men?

Nair it off

Best hair removal option for men?

Waxing is ok.

Best hair removal option for men?

That's a shame, I like hair there on a guy. Anyway, if it's around your nipples it might be difficult because it's sensitive, but you could try plucking them all out, or trimming them fine with scissors. In terms of permanent, you'd have to try that electrolysis or laser stuff which they say works, or I would say hair removal cream like Nair (just be careful the first time because it can really cause problems on some people burnign their skin off).

Best hair removal option for men?

wax it

Best hair removal option for men?

The very best options you can go with is or laser hair removal electrolysis, but if you want something that you can do yourself you can try waxing (very painful) or hair removal cream (doesn't last long enough). I hope that this information was helpful.

-Good luck

Can I wax after I had 6-8 laser hair removal treatments?

I am considering going through laser hair removal. I went yesterday for my free consultation. I do understand that it is not permanent. It is a permanent hair reduction method. I am very white with dark hair, so I am a perfect candidate. I am 90% sure I want to go through this, as I have been struggling with hair my entire life. But I want to hear what people have to say.

I have been waxing for years and I find it much better than shaving, but when I asked the lady if I could start waxing again after I have my 6 or 8 laser treatments, she gave me a funny look, saying "you don't want to stimulate any possible new hair, you should shave". But I know for a fact that shaving is not good for me. My hair would grow back like a man's beard.

If you have had laser hair removal, please give me your advice on this. Thanks a lot.

Can I wax after I had 6-8 laser hair removal treatments?

Shaving does not cause it to grow back like a man's beard. I would say wax if you want, I don't see why it would stimulate new growth.

Hair Removal System?

Okay, a couple days ago I found a hair removal machine that was $89. It was just on a random website, but I cannot remember where it was. So can someone please help me find this item? It was a permanent hair remover (like laser or something)

When I saw the page it had 2 comments from people saying it worked really nicely and a great buy.

It also said stuff about how it was the same type of thing that professionals use.

If you can't find it then could you tell me another item which is the same thing?

Thank you

Laser hair removal or Electrolysis hair removal?? what is best for perm. results?

I know that laser is less painful and inexpensive than elec. as that can take much longer and thus result in more money. However, just wanted to know if anyone has used laser or electrolysis hair removal...are the results permanant with laser..i read with laser there is permanant REDUCTION but not permanant removal or hair...and is it worth the pain and cost of electrolysis coz im scared that will leave scars....

So those who have experience please help me decide coz i want to have treatment on my armpit and legs...cost is not an issue as theres no point having laser and then having to go back for electro...Just want to know what you would reccomend for proper permanent removal...All help appretiated, thanks..

Laser hair removal or Electrolysis hair removal?? what is best for perm. results?

With electrolysis I only noticed a reduction after 1.5 years of weekly sessions, but that may be due to my incrediby thick black hair! I would say, electrolysis can be uncomfortable and time consuming, especially on a large area like your arms and legs, but if the hair there is pale, or your skin is darker it may not be so good for laser anyhow. I didn't experience any scarring, but I did once get a broken capilliary under the skin that has taken time to fade :-)

Laser hair removal or Electrolysis hair removal?? what is best for perm. results?

A Gillette Sensor Excel twin-blade razor, warm water, a bowl, soap, a Dunhill shaving brush, and, a member of the opposite sex in whom you have placed total and unamphibolised trust!

Laser hair removal or Electrolysis hair removal?? what is best for perm. results?

Laser definitely. Electrolysis is old-fashioned, less effective and painful with risk of skin infection.

Laser is permanent on areas that are not affected by hormones. If you have hormone issues (like polycystic ovaries) then some facial hair may start to grow back. This just means you would get a touch-up once a year. No biggie.

Laser hair removal or Electrolysis hair removal?? what is best for perm. results?

Laser was permanent for me and took way less time than electrolysis. Electrolysis also hurt alot more. Make sure you go to someone good. The attached sites can help with info and provider options.

How well does Laser hair removal really work?.. Is it really permanent?

I used it on my leg hairs.

I paid a few thousand dollars for 6 sessions. It is painful in some parts.

That was one year ago.

The hair still grows back. But finer. Nowadays, even if I didn't shave or wax, it is almost ok. A fine fuzz that you don't see until you are sitting close beside me.

So now I wax my legs about once every 2 months or so.

The results were not quite as dramatic as was advertised or explained in all the various websites I looked up earlier.

But definitely a noticeable improvement.

And the plus side is, you can as for the laser to be adjusted to treat fine spider veins and all the pigmentation and uneven pigementation and spots on your skin.

I did. I felt that was worth it. The spider veins are a lot less noticeable. The skin on my legs are a lot smoother.

I don't think anyone else noticed though. Maybe I get a couple of wolf whistles now and then if I wear a really short skirt. But gee.... do it, if you have money to spare and having smooth leg skin is really important to yourself.

Otherwise, keep the money for something else.

How well does Laser hair removal really work?.. Is it really permanent?

yes i've heard it's permanent n use only if u have excessive hair

How well does Laser hair removal really work?.. Is it really permanent?

Uh.. I don't know

How well does Laser hair removal really work?.. Is it really permanent?

You have to do it a couple of times and only then, it starts coming back thinner and thinner, eventually it disappears altogether . . good luck!!

How well does Laser hair removal really work?.. Is it really permanent?

Yes usually in 3 treatments or less

How well does Laser hair removal really work?.. Is it really permanent?

i dont no but i want it done

How well does Laser hair removal really work?.. Is it really permanent?

Yeah It works.however, not 100 %. You have to do it alot...like 5 or 6 times to get satisfying results. Eventually ....about 80 % of the hair is removed. It works best if you have a pale complexion and the hair is black and thick. The thinner your hair is the more difficult it is to remove.

Does laser hair removal work on indian skin? is it permanent?

does anyone know or had it done successully and how long is the process? my skin is medium brown- ish coloured and i have dark hair.. thank you

Does laser hair removal work on indian skin? is it permanent?

Hi

I think you are not correct. The key requirement is that your hair must be darker than the skin it surrounds.

For brown skin, IPL is better than Laser.

Laser light starts with Pulsed Light but eliminates all but one wavelength (or color) of light. Laser can deliver only one color (or wavelength) of light at a time.

Pulsed Light can deliver hundreds or thousands of colors of light at a time. Pulsed Light machines use "cut off" filters to selectively deliver the desired wavelengths. These wavelengths can be customized to reach the specific hair, blood vessels, or skin component being treated; and can be modified with each pulse.

Does laser hair removal work on indian skin? is it permanent?

Laser hair removal is most effective on light hair and light skin, it will eventually work for you but you will probably need many treatments

Has anyone had laser hair removal and has it been permanent?

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Dose laser hair removal really work as a permanent solution?

I think it does, but it takes repeated sessions for it to be effective and costs a lot of money :/

Dose laser hair removal really work as a permanent solution?

Usually yes.

Dose laser hair removal really work as a permanent solution?

i know a lady who does laser hair removal surgery and it does work however you have to go to the surgery 4-6 times after you have had you first laser removal to make sure the hair is removed and it can be quite costly.

but after that then you are hair free!

http://www.4laserhairremoval.com/article...

Dose laser hair removal really work as a permanent solution?

Yep after a few sessions you wont have hair grow back there ever...It kills the actual hair follicle which the hair grows from...

Dose laser hair removal really work as a permanent solution?

oh surely yes.

Dose laser hair removal really work as a permanent solution?

Yes provided it is a laser and not IPL(Intense Pulsed Light). It takes several treatments as the hair grows at different stages and does cost quite a lot but it will - or should - be permanent at the end of the treatments.

Laser Treatment for private hair removal?

Iam sick of shaving hair underarms and the private parts.Especially underarms if I leave them, they look ugly and my BF hates too and I hate shaving them daily.I heard there is a permanent laser hair removal treatment. Is this really free from any side effects as I wanna try.Can you please help me.Thx

Laser Treatment for private hair removal?

My wife had both her underarms and bikini area done 6 years ago and she is very happy. The worst case side effect is if the power setting is too high for your skin type. This is especially problematic if you have tan in the treatment area. If you follow protocols and go to someone with experience that is using the latest technology, your risk are extremely low. The attached sites have more info on hair removal and they show 3rd party patient survey scores for various providers.

Good luck...it is a great service.

Laser Treatment for private hair removal?

I had laser for my neck, underarm and pubic hair removal. I really works. Like you I hate having hair in those areas and I found laser very good and effective. You should have a light skin and black hair if you want laser work for you.The heat get absorbed my mealanin in the dark hair and get destroyed but it will not work for light and blond hair as such. You need to have several sessions....another good thing is when you do not have hair in those areas you will get less fungal infections too becuse a lot of those fungus go to the hair follicles and hide there. It is very clean way of getting rid of those unwanted hairs. It is worthed the money.

Laser Treatment for private hair removal?

Laser hair removal does work, but it's expensive. It costs hundreds of dollars. It's not a comfortable process either. They have to put numbing cream on your skin because the laser sort of burns your skin while the hair is being zapped with the laser. It requires at least six appointments to permanently remove the hair. Each appointment costs about $300. You can pay for everything by using a payment plan. American Laser will remove any unwanted hair for free after your sixth appointment. That's what I like about American Laser centers. American Laser has many locations in the United States.

I need to get laser hair removal on my face. Can anyone help me?

I have been plucking a small area of hair just under my jaw on both sides of my face/neck. I've been doing it for about 5 years, and its getting thicker and worse. I have to do it every morning. Its time to get it permanently removed, so I am going to check out permanent laser hair removal, but what happens in between sessions? I can't go out in public without plucking the hairs every morning, so what do I do once I start the treatment. I'm so depressed and embarrased.

I need to get laser hair removal on my face. Can anyone help me?

its not as uncommon as you think - many many women have excess facial hair issues.

Laser hair removal is definitely an option - the type of treatment they can use depends on several things - your skin type, even hair colour (the laser won't remove blonde or red hairs), so they will tailor treatment to your personal specifications. In between treatments, they will usually tell you to shave rather than pluck, to let the follicle grow naturally and make treatments more successful.

Keep in mind that it isn't cheap and takes several treatments to work, but is fully worthwhile for your own personal self confidence!

Definitely check it out, and check several places as well - prices will differ. Also see if any of them have any kind of guarantee of success.

Good luck! :):)

I need to get laser hair removal on my face. Can anyone help me?

Laser hair removal sounds like a great option for you. Part of the good news is that the hair does not grow between treatment so you don't have to worry about appearances and even if a little does you can shave it.

The site http://www.HairRemovalForum.com has a number of certified specialists that can help to get you started.

Good luck.

I need to get laser hair removal on my face. Can anyone help me?

After years of nightmare hair removal options, I finally decided to look into permanent hair removal options. My research led me to a consultation at Manhattan's salon.

I found a website http://www.hairlaserremoval.co.uk

There are many useful information to me. Thanks to them.

At my consultation I wasn't expecting to go under the laser. In fact, I wasn't sure what to expect. My technician, Michelle, was laid-back, confident and attentive. When I asked what the results would look like, she lifted her arm and showed me the most perfect hairless armpit I'd ever seen. Knowing I was

writing an article, she even showed me her bikini line. I was blown away with the possibility of never having to shave again.

Step 1: Paper panties

Technician leaves you with paper panties. I was given the paper panties then Michelle left. She came back in and I laid on the table in basically a splayed position (a bit uncomfortable, but then Michelle was so laid back and had showed me HER bikini line so what did I care?).

Step 2: Ice cold

Ice cold jelly-like goo is squeezed onto all the soon-to-be-lasered spots. The goo apparently protects skin and offers some sort of barrier from the heated light.

Step 3: The laser wand comes out

I had no idea what this looked like until I saw it. Lasers vary, but the one Michelle used on me reminded me of the part of your printer that you attach to your computer. The part that is closest to your skin is about 4 inches long and an inch wide (although they vary). Michelle gave me a pair of sunglasses.

Step 4: The procedure begins

Basically Michelle worked along my bikini line. I had asked about the pain and she said it would feel like a rubber band snapping the skin. She was right. The pain wasn't unbearable at all, nothing like the searing pain of waxing. The laser pulses with light and you feel a 'snap.' She moves along with each 'zap.'

Step 5: Clean up

Once the lasering was over, Michelle scooped up the goo, I got dressed and that was it. No need for creams or lotions or potions. Michelle told me the hair would fall out within 2 weeks.

On my way out the door the woman at the reception desk told me I was going to love the results. I left happy and confident she was right. Then the waiting began.

Two weeks later, the hair was gone and a new hair cycle had just barely begun to grow in. Hair grows in cycles so you should get about 6 treatments to ensure you kill all the hair follicles. A month after my first treatment I went in for my second. Find out what happened in my 3rd installment of Diary of a Laser Hair Removal Guinea Pig.

My dermatologist said that laser hair removal isn't 100% permanent so how long does it generall

If you use Nair or Veet like I do, it usually lasts about a day or so at the most. If you do it at night it will usually be partially grown back.

Ladies- have you tried Laser hair removal ? Is it Really permanent??

YES YES YES!!! I did it on my armpits and I haven't had a hair in 7 months! Mind you, it is VERY costly, but it was totally worth it! I'm saving my money to do my bikini line!

Ladies- have you tried Laser hair removal ? Is it Really permanent??

It doesn't work for everone. My Husband had 18 months of repeated treatments to remove his facial hair, and you can't tell anything was ever done. Report It

Ladies- have you tried Laser hair removal ? Is it Really permanent??

most times it's permanent but u have to go in for many sessions before it is finished.

Ladies- have you tried Laser hair removal ? Is it Really permanent??

I had Laser Hair Removal. I had it done with an IPL Cool glide laser. My treatmenst were every 6 weeks and I had about 7 total to remove the hair from the root. It does NOT grow back. But, I have noticed that I ama little addicted to getting hair removed. First it was my chin, then my sideburns, then my underarms. Now, I want to begin my stomach and legs....LOL...

Have you tried laser hair removal? Is it really permanent and would you recommend it?

How did you decide on the place you went to have it done?

Have you tried laser hair removal? Is it really permanent and would you recommend it?

I'm getting my underarms "lasered" as a test of how it works- So far (1/3 way through) - I'm seeing slower growth and definately less hair. A friend of mine had it done and she's never used a razor or wax on her legs again (its been 3 years for her)! The process is for 1 year (you have to go 1 time every 2 months). If you keep an eye out for deals (it is getting cheaper), you could consider it. That's what I did - I got 50% off at amer. laser. The cost of doing this i think is a little high (unless if you get a good deal at a good place) - but look at the time you save by not waxing or shaving! Actually, I am probably paying only for 1.5 years of waxing for a hopefully a lifetime of not having to worry about that part of my body!

There are a lot of not-so-credible places. I looked for referrals of customers and people i know, cost, warranty length (ranging from none to 2 years), years of experience technician has (as they do it - not usually the doctor). Also if you have darker skin and darker hair or really light skin/hair make sure they have the right equipment. A lot of places have a free consultation visit. I would only recommend that just don't sign up the same day you visit. Think about it and do your comparison shopping!

Good luck in whatever you decide!

Have you tried laser hair removal? Is it really permanent and would you recommend it?

my friend has tried it. it took alot of expensive visits and it works about half way. Just wax, its less costly

Have you tried laser hair removal? Is it really permanent and would you recommend it?

yea i did it. you can't do it if you're tan bc then it leaves brown spots. it's not permenant. the place i went to, there are 3 different treatments which last for a certain period of time. i went to my grandfathers office nd did it there bc i trust the whole office with anything

Have you tried laser hair removal? Is it really permanent and would you recommend it?

It's not totally permanent. You have to go back every few months to have the few stray hairs that come back re-lasered.

Have you tried laser hair removal? Is it really permanent and would you recommend it?

No it is not permanent. They say that you should have 4-6 rounds of treatments and then after that come back annually for regrowth. I had 3 treatments and the hair is back and more thick.

Have you tried laser hair removal? Is it really permanent and would you recommend it?

do your research... make sure that they can show you before and after shots.... also look at price... usually you can pay for all of the treatments at once and they vary on the thickness of your hair... but they are worth it

Have you tried laser hair removal? Is it really permanent and would you recommend it?

I did have the laser hair removal done and I was happy with it. I had it done on my chin and it lasted but then for whatever reason I started shaving over the area again and it made the hair start growing back again. For the most part it doesnt really grow back though. I would highly recommend it for anyone.

I understand laser hair removal is not 100% PERMANENT, however, generally how long does it last?

Will having 6 treatments now, and then having a touchup maybe once a year afterwards be efficient enough to maintain the desired reduction? Anyone have any success stories?

Thanks.

I understand laser hair removal is not 100% PERMANENT, however, generally how long does it last?

I am also going through the treatments right now and the lady that's doing mine said that it would be permanent. She did, however, contradict herself by saying I may have to have touch-ups sometimes.

It really depends on how light your skin tone is and how dark and coarse the hair is being removed. If you're very fair skinned and have dark, stubbly hair the better your results will be. And it does hurt. I'm having from my neck to my chin done and also my upper lip. It's not pleasant but it's definitely worth it. I've been for 2 of my 6 treatments so far and there's a remarkable difference already. The hair is not growing near as fast and a lot of the hair is growing back blonde which means it is killing the pigments. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome which causes excessive hair growth and this was my only option on getting it removed. Good luck on this and hope this goes well for you!

I understand laser hair removal is not 100% PERMANENT, however, generally how long does it last?

I just started last year, and I get treatments every 6 - 8 weeks. I missed a session or two along the way. I LOVE the results. I have a def. reduction. However, everyone is different. Hormone's change and therefore, no one can guarantee you anything. Despite what they tell you, the laser does hurt, so be prepared. Initially they keep the frequency low, but it gets higher with each treatment to kill the folicle. So make sure they have ice packs ready for you. It is worth it.

Laser hair removal, is ir really permanent?

please share your own experiences or those of people you know

Laser hair removal, is ir really permanent?

My main reason for doing it was I have sensitive skin that would get razor burn and ingrown hairs. I have had three different areas done. I had 3-4 treatments done on each. I think they recommend 5-6 for max effectiveness. I started to see a little hair come back after 5 years and plan on having another treatment. Overall, if you can afford it and stand the pain/discomfort, it's great.

I think the only hair removal process that can claim to be permanent is electrolysis, but even that takes multiple treatments.

Laser hair removal, is ir really permanent?

From personal experience.....laser hair removal does NOT work for everyone. All of my hair grew back

Laser hair removal, is ir really permanent?

oh yeah it's permanent.... a girl i know got it done on her forehead and they didn't do a straight line... she hates it and it's pretty funny looking

Laser hair removal, is ir really permanent?

no it will just thin it out. A friend of mine got it done..and all it did was thin out the hair a little bit.

Laser hair removal, is ir really permanent?

No. It is not permaenent.

No hair removal method is permaenent.

Hair does not stop growing where you dont want it

Similary, It does not grow where you want it.

Laser hair removal, is ir really permanent?

nope, it usually comes back 3 to 6 months later. It requires re-treatment about 3 to 5 times... then it's usually gone for good. depends on what laser is used. Alexandrite or Ruby are best, avoid IPL types, the hair always comes back. DEFENETLY avoid CO2 or Fraxel lasers.

Laser hair removal, is ir really permanent?

i saw on tv advertisments that it only stays non-hair for up to 4 months. eventually it will grow back.

Does laser hair removal live up to its reputation?

How many laser sessions would it take to remove unwanted hair on the face?

Is the hair removal permanent?

Are there any risks to laser hair removal?

Does laser hair removal live up to its reputation?

I have had great results with laser hair removal.....6 years ago and no regrowth. The best candidates have light skin and dark hair. I have light skin and medium brown hair.

The greatest danger with laser hair removal is if you are tan. The laser is attracted to melanin in the hair follicle and when you tan all of the skins melanin rises to the surface. Since you are interested in LHR for the face, I would recommend you get a test patch first.

The attached site has great information....and has a directory of reputable providers. Make sure you go to someone who has the latest equipment and knows what they are doing.

Does laser hair removal live up to its reputation?

No.

It's not actually permanent...you have to keep going back for sessions.

And it only works really well on people with darker tonned skin and dark hair.

Does laser hair removal live up to its reputation?

it does not live up to its expectation, sometimes people get scarred, or the hait never stops growing. It would take about 6-7 sessions depending on your hair to decrease it. Its not a permanent removal, electrolysis is.

Does laser hair removal live up to its reputation?

I have had great results with mine. Go to a place that has a good reputation, I would recommend a plastic surgeons office or someplace like that. I go to a plastic surgeons office and aenistition does it. It is expensive but I think it is worth it. After you have about 6-7 session you only after go every six months.

Permanent removal of excess body hair?

Hair removal: The different methods of hair removal are: shaving, tweezing, depilatory cream, waxing, electrolysis and laser hair removal.

Hair removal- 1. Shaving is one of the most common forms of hair removal. It's easy to do and not very time-consuming. The results usually lasts between 1-3 days. Some of the draw-backs are: cuts, razor burn and bumps.

Permanent removal of excess body hair?

If you have been looking for a permanent solution to hair removal, the Rio Laser is the closest home based product to meet this requirement. It's also a lot cheaper than salon treatments. A couple of caveats though, it cannot be used on dark skin and due to its size is only suitable for treating small areas at a time.

Another alternative is Kalo hair inhibitor. It has been around a long time and I use it to slow down hair growth and soften my facial hair, making it easier to shave daily. As far as permanent hair removal goes, it can take many months before you see any difference. But you should witness softer, finer hair growth within a few weeks.

Does anyone know of a hair removal method that is permanent and really works?

I want to get rid of hair permanently--legs, arm pits, bikini area, stray eyebrows, upperlip, etc. I hate shaving, and I'm over waxing. I have heard of laser and electrolysis, but I don't know anyone who has done it and I want to know if it works well, how bad it hurts, and how much it really costs...and is there any scarring or discoloration?

Does anyone know of a hair removal method that is permanent and really works?

Both laser and electrolysis are permanent hair removal methods for they destroy the hair root-laser is quicker but much more expensive-electrolysis destroys with electric charge the hair root but may require more than one treatment but I believe less costly than laser. Both need to be done by a well-qualified and skilled professional-would recommend a Dermatologist trained in both methods. Scarring occurs when it is done by a improperly trained and skilled individual why I would recommend a Dermatologist trained and skilled in these methods esp since you want so much done. If you already have a Dermatologist schedule a consult and discuss for he may recommend some one or recommend how you can locate one that is skilled and trained. The cost may vary a bit but with the potential of serious scarring/discoloration if done by unskilled esp the laser cost should be secondary to safety. I'd check with several as far as cost goes but I'd be wary of the cheapest-all kinds of horror stories from those who attempted to get service done cheap. Good Luck

Terica, it's "laser" surgery.

laser, it hurts, if your hair is light it might not work, it costs plenty, call a laser hair removal place, if you scar very easily you might scar, discoloration is usually temporary, electrolosis has to be done several times but laser does too.

Does anyone know of a hair removal method that is permanent and really works?

Laser hair removal is virtually PAINLESS!

It is kind of expensive, depending on the area of removal. Fully body can range somewhere between $1500 to $3000.

No side effects are actually present, besides temporary minor pain (after the laser), something two Advil's couldn't handle.

The biggest factor here is the price of the removal.

Good luck!

Is laser hair removal in the underarms permanent?

if not, when would the hair start growing back?

Is laser hair removal in the underarms permanent?

It is permanent but you generally need 4-6 Tx to remove 99% of the hair. My wife had it done 6 years ago and for the most part the hair is still gone. She did get some new growth when she was pregnant but the total hair there is like 10% of what she originally had.

Make sure you go to someone good with good equipment. The site http://www.HairRemovalForum.com has providers who have received positive surveys from previous customers.

Is laser hair removal in the underarms permanent?

It takes several treatments, one is not permanent.

Is laser hair removal in the underarms permanent?

It depends on how much hair you've got and a couple of other things. my friend had hers done a couple of years ago and the did not ever come out. She got married last month and went for one more visit just to make sure everything was gone. Some other people that have had it dont have not seen such great results.

How much can it cost for ARMPIT LASER Hair Removal? Is it permanent?

How long does the procedure take and how much approximately in the US?

How much can it cost for ARMPIT LASER Hair Removal? Is it permanent?

no, insurance does not cover it. it costs about $400 (usually more) a session and you will need multiple sessions. generally costs over $1000 in total. also, you cannot have any tan on the area. the actual sessions include an hour of numbing cream on the area and then the actual treatment is pretty short. the doctor goes over the area 3 times with the laser %26amp; you are set. i'd suggest taking a couple advil before, too. it is not painless.

What's the difference between photo light hair removal and laser hair removal? Which gives perm

Lasers give *long term hair reduction*.This does not mean its permanent. You can get the same results if you wax the hair.Remember that with lasers you also absorb all the radiation like you do when you get X rays. The radiation remains in your body FOREVER.. Long term exposure to radiation can give you leukemia.I haven't heard the term * photo light * hair removal but I'm assuming its also a new term they are using for a laser. Every year they come up with a new term to use so it sounds like something new. The only type of permanent hair removal is still the needle type electrolysis. Its safe, and effective.

What's the difference between photo light hair removal and laser hair removal? Which gives permanent result?

?

What's the difference between photo light hair removal and laser hair removal? Which gives permanent result?

there is no such thing as permanent hair removal. it just hair reduction..

What's the difference between photo light hair removal and laser hair removal? Which gives permanent result?

To previous posters...FDA requires it to be called Permanent Hair Reduction because if you have 1000 hairs, there may be 2, 5, 20 remaining after the treatments. The actual follicle is being destroyed so the individual hair that is removed is permanently removed even though the FDA only allowed the term Permanent Hair Reduction to be advertised. Annoying.

On to the question. Both can work great and it is dependent on the practitioner and what the candidates traits are. Laser's emit only one frequency of light, so it is very good at getting specific types of hairs and the practioner needs less training. Photo light emits all light frequencies and then filters to the frequency that is meant to treat the hair. Photo light requires much more training, but in the hands of a professional, it can be better utilized to treat patients with darker skin types and can be used for lighter skin types with close to the same effect as a laser.

Yes, it does. You have to go in a number of times (of course). And Yes, I would recommend it. Good Luck

yes it is permanent. Sherri Lynch a radio personality has had this done to her under arms and does not have to shave the "pitts" anymore.

Yes! have got 4 times and there is a huge difference. Though it may depend on the type of laser that is used, I have used the pulsed light laser with great results. It alsod depends on you skin and hair coloration, it is best if you hair is several shades darker than your skin, and works better on mid to light skin. Good luck1

Honestly, I have yet to learn about any permanent hair removal cream. I am pretty in to hair removal being that my skin is really fair and all my hair is black never heard of permanent hair removal cream. However, I do want to let you know FYI using hair removal creams or razors or pretty much anything besides tweezing and waxing on your face is not a good idea. You will start to get a five o'clock shadow eventually that will never go away. As much of a pain as waxing is it is really the only safe way. Try Nads wax you can get in at CVS for $19. What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?

Which one is better? Which one will guarantee permanent hair removal?

What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?

I have had both and laser hair removal was way better than electrolysis. Electrolysis felt like their was a woodpecker sitting on my forehead pecking between my eyes. Electrolysis takes longer, is more painful and has a higher risk of scarring, especially if it is a bad practitioner. Laser Hair Removal is faster and somewhat painful. After LHR I am 5 years out with no regrowth. As other have said, there is not guarantee to be hairless forever because hormonal changes can cause dormant follicles to start growing hair again. There are providers out there, however, that offer 2 year guarantees that begin after your last treatment.

The difference between the two is that electrolysis is done by running electrical current down a probe that is inserted down to your follicle. The electrical current then destroys the follicle by shutting off the blood supply to the follicle. With electrolysis you can only treat one hair at a time and you have to see the hair to treat it.

For LHR, light heats up the hair shaft and the follicle because the light is attracted to the melanin in your hair and the mellanin in the blood supply located at the follicle. The corresponding heat then destroys the follicle by once again shutting off the blood supply to the follicle. For LHR, you treat an area the size of a quarter with each light pulse. In addition, all active follicles are treated which means that follicles whose hair shafts are not beyond the surface of the skin are still treated.

LHR was definitely a great choice for me.

What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?

Neither one if you were blessed with hair keep it

What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?

Electrolysis is a lot more time consuming; it "shocks" each hair root out one by one. Laser hair removal is much less painful and although you may have to go back a series of times, it is more recommended since it's not only one hair at a time.

What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?

Neither will guarantee permanent hair removal, especially if your more dark-haired. Electrolysis is painful and long but will give you a better chance of your hair never coming back.

What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?

There is a HUGE difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal. Electrolysis is done with a *needle* probe that zaps or shocks the hair inside the follicle. Which means, the hair shaft is being penetrated. It's painful and extremely time consuming, and not cost effective, since only small areas can be worked on at a time. Laser is performed with laser light, which causes the hair in the follicle to die off. It's virtually painless, though there is some degree of sensation of temperature, but not pain. Electrolysis can take cares to achieve results, laser can take as few as three treatments to achieve result.

One more thing, there are no guarantee's in life. The human hair follicle produces a fair amount of hair in your lifetime. There is no guarantee that eventually, hair %26gt;could%26lt; grow back even after it's been lasered. It all depends on the genetic disposition of the skin and hair makeup.

Electrolysis.. ouch ... yikes... $$$ .. .boo!!! *thumbs down big time*

What is the difference between electrolysis and laser hair removal?

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are 閳ユ笡ermanent閳?hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

permanent!...not yet hun...

Lasers for local use in visible areas ( as long as the chap who is doing it knows what he is doing..otherwise scars!!)

Electrolysis ..as above, too many sessions, not long lasting

Vaniqua (eflornithine)local application cream reduces rate of growth, body hair too much area for local application though!

Spironolactone, Cyproterone, Finasteride...only good for hirsutism, and not particularly recommended for body hair, which will need one of the above PHYSICAL methods..other than shaving/depilation

Well, there's a ConAir electric body buffer thing I purchased a while back. It's not permanent, but it keeps it from growing back for a few weeks. It beats Nair :-\

How Much Does Each Treatment Of Laser Hair Removal Cost?

How Much Does Each Treatment Of Laser Hair Removal Cost?

Well, I currently get my facial hair lasered. It costs $100 a session. Its great I've been getting lasered in total for 3 months you can only get lasered every 4 weeks or more depending on your skin color. My doctor doesnt charge me if I have to come in before 6 weeks which is GREAT! Check to make sure you get all the info you need. You are not suppose to go out into the sun for 2 weeks after if not you will get sun spots. Make sure your covered with a hat or sunblock. For the sunblock be sure you pick one thats not too oily for the skin or else you'll breakout. Your not able to wear makeup!

Yes that includes fountain or powder so make sure your 1st treatment is before your weekend or a day off just in case your face gets red. It happened to me but only lasted for an hour.

Hope my answer helped!

I paid $750 for 5 sessions, still have hair but there is much less and it is much softer. Worked great on my under arms, only have to shave them once a month maybe.

How Much Does Each Treatment Of Laser Hair Removal Cost?

Most laser hair removal clinic charge a fixed amount per treatment and you pay after each one. In some instances a discount may apply if you buy a pack of treatments and pay in advance. The cost can run into the thousands if an are like legs + arms are treated for example.

The number of treatments required depends on what body part is being treated and how strong your hair growth is. Laser hair removal treatments work best on fair skinned people with dark hair as the laser machine has to be able to differentiate between the hair and the skin.

Most clinics don't tell you this and will not actually guarantee permanent hair loss as it has been known for body hair to start growing again after 12-18 months. Ask you laser clinic about their policy regarding this.

As you will be investing a significant amount of money in these treatments you may want to try a low cost home laser hair removal kit like the Rio and test it on a small area of skin and review its effectiveness.

The Rio uses a safe 808nm diverging diode laser and treats one hair at a time whereas salon machines treat an area of about 1cm squared. If the results are satisfactory then you could do your whole face at a salon.

How Much Does Each Treatment Of Laser Hair Removal Cost?

You can expect to pay between $100 and $400 per treatment depending on the size of the area that you are getting done. The number of treatments is dependent on your skin type and hair type and can vary between 4 and 10 treatments.

Make sure you go to someone with top of the line equipment who has alot of experience. This is not something to do at home as the home equipment is not powerful enough.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

i want permanent hair removal treatment in this world.....and should be inexvensive? kindly give me sincre answers.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

It isn't inexpensive, but, if you are serious about it, you can get your hair follicles zapped with a lazer. You would effectively be permanently damaging the mechanism that grows hair, but that is the most effective. Their are places that do all over the place. This being said it isn't cheap (I'm thinking thousands here). But, if you consider how much you spend over the course of your life in waxing, shaving, and other treatments, it works out to be a real bargain. Good luck.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

There is a permanent hair removing treatment. It is done with lasers and is expensive and it isn't a 100% guarantee

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

My sister is doing laser treatment. It consists of 12 treatment, but it started working by the first and second treatment. You must continue with the 12 treatment for it to be permanent.

I think it's different in price range depending on the state your in. Usually range around 3 to 4 hundred. This is information I got from my sister so if I'm not accurate, please forgive me.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

Go see a dermatologist.Electrolysis can get rid of hair permanently but I don't know how expensive it is.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

There are quite a few places that do hair removal which is safe and permanant - dont think its very expensive - depending on what treatment you get.

Theres electrolysis - which i think is about 鎷?5 or $55 but laser is most effective. This is anything around 鎷?0 for a trial version - but not sure how long you have to have it for. Try 'www.theprivateclinic.co.uk' for info.

Is there any permanent treatment for hair removing?

Go to the dermatologist for laser treatments. That is the only way you can remove it permanently. It will cost money and not all insurance will pay for it. And make sure he know what he is doing because it could cause burning and scarring if not done by a professional. Otherwise it is good old shaving, plucking, waxing or Nair and yes the hair grows back. I hate to say. Good luck.

Can I apply to OHIP for hair removal?

I have constant ingrown hairs on my legs, both upper and lower that cause pain at times. I have tried everything else that my estetician suggested and it doesnt work. Am I able to apply to Canadas OHIP to see if they can cover the costs of permanent hair removal? If so, how do I go about this?

What's the best & cheapest form of hair removal for hairy persians like me :(?

Hi I'm a Persian girl, and most may know I come from the hariest region on earth. I have some problems. I have thick coarse hair. Almost every where. And when I wax it if scars my face and the hair grows back in a week. I have gotten many laser treatments from different places and it doesn't scar, but the hair still returns, just as badly in about 3 weeks. I have also tried threading and that still creates the same scarring effect. I also have tried taking hormone medication and all that kind of stuff too. No help ;( So I am wondering, if anyone has any other permanent hair removal suggestions other then the ones I have listed that are not over $200. Thanks...

I am going to laser hair removal for bikini area and I think the issue is you arn't sticking with it. I have had EXCELENT results. You HAVE to go for at least year every 3 months. That's about 4 treatments and the recomended is 5 or 6. After those treatments, go in once a year to be lasered. I go for about 100 dollars a visit. I HIGHLY recommend you stick with it. ESPECIALLY if you have coarse hair.

How does professional hair removal work?

I want to get it done but I am not sure how they do it ? Is it really spendy ? What is the best type of permanent hair removal ?

How does professional hair removal work?

Where are you getting it done?

If it's on your face / eyebrows make sure you get them shaped professionally first, and be happy with the shape before you go off to a clinic to get the regrowth removed permanently.

There are different types - lasers which are used for bigger areas, eg cheeks, back, arms etc. The hair follicle absorbs the energy of the laser and dies, over a course of sessions, probably around 6.

There's also tweezers which are basically electrified. They grab individual hairs and then send a zap through the tweezers, down through the hair into the follicle. Do that enough times and the follicle dies.

Doesn't hurt at all, although electrolysis does (I think it's becoming obsolete now, where they stick an electrified pin into the hair follicle - that apparently hurts)

Both cost a fair amount of cash, depends what you're having done - but it's not ridiculously expensive, prob cost you $30 - 40 per session / over 6 - 10 sessions at a guess)

Hope this helps

How does professional hair removal work?

best type is laser. you go in and you lay or sit down, they put a gel over the area to be treated, you wear eye protection (from the laser) then they zap away. It kinda feels like hot bacon grease. But after a few treatments no more hair

How does professional hair removal work?

laser is the best permenent its pricy though its like 2 dollars per hair im ganna get it done when im older right now i stick to waxing and plucking it doesnt hurt as much as ppl scare you

Does anyone have any advice/warnings for this hair removal method?

My friend posed an interesting hair removal method to me. It involves mixing depilatories in with a warm epsom salt bath. The idea is that the epsom salt will open the pores, allowing the depilatories to reach the hair follicle, and kill it.

Could anyone give me some insight to this? For starters: Is this even a good idea? And if so, How much of each should I mix with the bath water? And how long should I soak in it for?

Afterwards, is there any kind of lotion should I use? Is there a brand that discourages hair growth? Or is there anything else that I should do afterwards, aside from taking a hot shower to get the chemicals out of my pores?

Also, if this is a rediculously stupid idea, can anyone suggest some other inexpensive permanent hair removal method?

Does anyone have any advice/warnings for this hair removal method?

I myself use Depilatories and I don't believe this method works well mainly because when the water mixes with the chemicals in the Depilatories the chemicals lose some if not all of their working properties of hair removal if you really want to try this method I suggest you change it slightly and do the bath with the salts THEN use the Depilatories afterwards when your dried off but mixing them in with the water and salt sounds to me like a pointless non working idea

Does anyone have any advice/warnings for this hair removal method?

I have never heard of such. It sounds like your a pretty hairy guy! I would recommend going to a Laser and hair removal doctors office or simply the salon and get a good old fashion waxing. They can literally remove all hair everywhere!!! At both places!

Then it's off to smooth city!!!!!

Does anyone have any advice/warnings for this hair removal method?

There is no real inexspensive permanent removal method. Laser works good, but costs and takes multiple sessions.

Does anyone have any advice/warnings for this hair removal method?

this is unlikely to kill the hair root and result in permanent hair removal.....it is quite likely to cause a chemical burn....do NOT sit in a bath filled with salts and depilatories....if you are sitting in that concoction you will be exposing your tender areas (vagina and anus) to chemicals that should not touch those areas....this is a HORRIBLE idea!!....the only thing that results in PERMANENT hair removal is electrolosis....laser hair removal will result in a permanent REDUCTION of hair.........

don't let your friend try this either!
