I've been looking into laser hair removal for some time now. I'm a seemingly perfect candidate with having light skin and dark hair.
But how effective is laser hair removal? I mean is it REALLY permanent? Also, how much does it cost and how many treatments are needed usually?
Thanks in advance everyone. I really appreciate it. :)
How effective is laser hair removal?
I had it done over 6 years ago and the hair is still gone. My wife had it done on her bikini line and undearms at the same time. She probably has about 10% regrowth that occurred when she was going through her pregnancies and had hormone changes.
Prices are generally between $75 and $500 per treatment depending on the size of the area. The site http://www.HairRemovalForum.com has a good list of providers and if you call 888.517.4187 they can give you pricing for locations around the country.

The best thing you can do is check your local OB/GYN office or dermatologist office to seek info on hair removal. Also, some websites online can tell you where to find a local place that performs the laser treatments. The cost varies on the area you live in. I am currently getting laser treatments on my face. It is working GREAT!! You notice results in as little as a week after the first treatment. I paid $175.00 per treatment in the area I live, northeast Indiana. It is better to get it done on a weekend, your face tends to be red for a few days. You can wear make-up and everything else. Also, make sure you buy a moisturizer for your face and even a calming booster or something along that line. Hope this helps, any other questions feel free to email me. Below is a site that can help you research.
