Just after some opinions on body hair removal - legs, bikini, etc.
I've been shaving for a few years now, but for the past year or so, shaving has left me really uncomfortable, and I always get an awful red rash - not good during the Summer :(
I tried using various moisturisers for sensitive skin, aloe gel etc. after shaving, but they make no difference.
Tried waxing, but it was so damn painful!
I was wondering if and how laser hair removal works. How much does it cost? (UK) How permanent is it? And is it worth buying a lasering kit from, say, Argos, or going to a salon to get it done professionally?
And also, for people who prefer waxing, do you have any tried and trusted methods of making it hurt a bit less?
Thanks guys :)
Hair removal...?
I am an esthetician have been doing hair removal for bout 7yrs. Everybody's pain tolerance is different. The first time is always the worst! Make sure the esthetician is not taking huge pieces at a time. For instance on your bikini a little at a time. Tell the receptionist its your 1st time and have her allow more time for the esthetician. Most won't mind. You want your client to feel comfortable with you. Also once you start to wax your hair will grow in thinner, sparser, and it won't hurt as bad.Give it a few times. It's well worth it No bumps or razor burn. And it looks great! You'll never want to pick up a razor again.

Nads
Hair removal...?
Nair tends to give me rashes and burn a lot, but Veet is really good and sensitive on the skin. I highly recommend it. It is easy to use, and very affective.
Hair removal...?
i have the exact same problem when i shave, so hair removal creams sem to be the best, i also find veet to be the best.
you can always get an epilator, but it would be very sore, but the results last longer.
