Laser 'shaving'????

I don't know whether it is said 'shaving' or waxing, yet anyway I would like to know if permanent hair removal by using a laser is in any way harmful or increases the risks of any disease? I too would like to know why in the 2 places I asked for prices, one was extremely more expensive than the other... Is there a better way? A safer way?

It is very safe. The price may have been dramatically different because A. The quality of the equipment was very different or B. One of the locations had to pay a Dr. a substantial amount more for oversight. I would recommend talking to your dr about the issue of the safety of laser is.

As for waxing some women have talked about having good results with Brazilian wax.

As for companies that charge higher prices part of that is because you are paying for the name just like will often occur with brand name clothing.

I had one of those things, it sat in my drawer for years until I threw it out. I didn't try it much because it was laborious. Plus, if you don't do it right, you could hurt yourself. Leave electrolysis to the professionals. It's only 30 dollars for 30 minutes.

i actually saw that and wanted to try that myself...but i figured it was a load of ****...LOL..im going to check to see if anyone answers....i know someone who said a girl they know used it for a long time and it actually worked...but who knows...i seriously doubt it.

I bought one and tried it a couple of times. I had trouble trying to get the needle directly into the hair follicle and also it hurt! It sat on the shelf for a while and then I threw it out, A waste of money.

I wax or I use Nair Pretty (it's supposed to be specifically for teens I think... the peach kind. It doesn't smell nearly as bad). The only permanent solution is laser hair removal I think.

Has anyone used an at home permanent hair removal and if so did it work? What brand? I want to get the machine called "finally free ultra plus hair remover" but I dont want to waste money or anything. Can anyone help me with this please? Thank you

I used one before....VERY time consuming and stings a little bit. It left a little scab in every hair pore, but it worked for the little patch that I did in 3 freakin hours!!!

If you have normal to fine hair it works great, but if you have gorilla hair dont even bother with it.
